Who We Are
Cprent was born in mid-2024 with a simple (yet powerful) idea: to create machines that help protect the planet by using 3D printing and recycled materials.
Behind Cprent are a Carolina Duque y Luisa Gil. Carolina es ingeniera biomédica who now teaches, Biomedical Engineer; Luisa es Architect y trabaja en el sector de la construcción It all started when Carolina, working with her 3D printer, became obsessed with one question: “What if we could print using recycled bottles?” To make it a reality, she called Luisa, who wasn't a machine expert, but was a pro with tools, screws, and materials (the real-deal kind). So, between ideas, trials, errors, and many turns of the screw, Cprent was born. Both have always been fans of nature conservation and sustainability, and during this time they have achieved impacting the maker community, people, and projects in favor of the environment, and also to many schools and educational institutions that today use their solutions to learn, create, and transform.
Plus, the journey already comes with some cool achievements: they were first place in Capital Semilla, and they have built alliances with educational institutions who believe in innovation with a purpose. And this… is just getting started.
